High-temperature tapes for compression seals and thermal insulation wraps help contain heat and protect hoses, cables, surrounding components, and workers from extreme temperatures. Tetraglas® Fiberglass Tape
Tetraglas® tape is a heavy-duty wrap woven with high-quality E-glass fiberglass and designed for use in applications with temperatures up to 1000°F (540°C). Tetraglas® tape is offered in both plain and drop warp weaves, can be heat treated, and is available with vermiculite, PTFE, or graphite coating.
Tetraglas 3000® Silica Tape
Tetraglas 3000® tape is constructed of amorphous silica yarns and is suitable for use in continuous temperatures of up to 1800°F (980°C). Tetraglas 3000® is available in both plain and drop warp weaves.
Ceramic Tape
Ceramic tape supports higher continuous operating temperatures and possesses excellent chemical stability as well as strong corrosion and thermal shock resistance. It’s suitable for applications with temperatures up to 2300°F (1260°C) and is made with glass or Inconel® inserts for increased strength and durability. Ceramic fiber tape is available in both plain and drop warp weaves.
